CMO Track

MBA-level training to become a world-class Chief Marketing Officer.

6 Blöcke·34 Module·128 Lektionen

Most marketing leaders can run a campaign. Very few can run the business behind the marketing. This track is built for the second kind, or for the ones who intend to become it.

You start where reputation lives, with brand strategy, messaging, competitive positioning, storytelling, and the rare skill of pulling off a rebrand without torching equity you spent years building. Then you turn attention into pipeline across demand generation, from paid digital and SEO to email, CRM, and the ATL channels that still move markets, TV, print, OOH, and radio, all stitched together through integrated media planning and loyalty.

Product marketing sharpens the commercial edge. You will own go-to-market strategy, pricing, customer research, launch playbooks, and competitive intelligence, the work that decides whether a product wins or quietly disappears. Analytics is where you earn credibility with the CFO. GRP and offline metrics, digital analytics, marketing mix modeling, omnichannel attribution, CAC, LTV, ROAS, A/B testing, and budget forecasting turn your spend from a cost line into a proven growth engine.

Leadership closes the loop. You will learn to operate as a business leader, build and manage teams, tame agencies, negotiate budget, and hold your own in front of the board and the CFO. And because none of this scales without infrastructure, you go deep on MarTech and data, from stack architecture and CDPs to first-party data, server-side tracking, privacy, AI and ML in marketing, and the cookieless reality of data clean rooms.

This is the full stack of the modern CMO. Master it and you stop defending your budget. You start setting the agenda.

Häufige Fragen

What exactly is the CMO Track?

The CMO Track is an MBA-level training path covering the full scope of a Chief Marketing Officer's job: 128 lessons spread across 6 blocks, from brand and positioning to MarTech and data. It is built for people who want to run the business behind the marketing, not just run campaigns.

Who is this for if I'm not a CMO yet?

The CMO Track works for senior marketers, heads of growth, product marketers, and founders who own marketing and intend to move into a marketing leadership seat. The material assumes you already run campaigns or a team; it teaches the commercial, analytical, and organisational layer above that.

Do the six blocks have to be followed in order?

No, each of the 6 blocks stands on its own and you can start where your gap is. The default order follows a logic though: brand and positioning first, then demand generation, product marketing, marketing analytics, leadership, and finally MarTech and data, because measurement and infrastructure make more sense once you know what you are measuring.

Is there a diploma or certification at the end?

No. The CMO Track delivers no diploma, no state-recognised certification, and carries no affiliation with a school or university. Reading is free and open; an account only saves your progress through the lessons.

What's the difference between the demand generation and product marketing blocks?

Demand generation (22 lessons) is about creating and capturing attention across paid digital, SEO, email, CRM, and ATL channels like TV, print, OOH, and radio. Product marketing (19 lessons) is about the commercial decisions around the product itself: go-to-market planning, pricing, customer research, launch playbooks, and competitive intelligence.

Which measurement methods does the analytics block actually cover?

The marketing analytics block is the largest of the six with 26 lessons, and it spans the whole measurement stack: GRP and offline metrics, digital analytics, marketing mix modeling, omnichannel and multi-touch attribution, incrementality testing, CAC, LTV, ROAS, A/B test design, and budget forecasting.

Does the track address the cookieless shift and first-party data?

Yes, that is the core of the MarTech and data block (21 lessons). It covers stack architecture, CDPs, first-party data unification, server-side tracking, privacy compliance, data clean rooms, and the use of AI and machine learning in marketing activation.

Where do I start if my problem is defending my budget to the CFO?

Start with marketing analytics (26 lessons), then leadership and organization (20 lessons). The first gives you the proof: mix modeling, attribution, CAC, LTV, ROAS, and forecasting. The second gives you the conversation: negotiating budget, structuring agency relationships, and presenting marketing value to the board and the CFO in their language.
